Close to nature at the Alpenhotel Zimba in Brandnertal

• Standard times: Your room will be available from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 10.30 am.
• Early check-in: Subject to prior arrangement and subject to availability, you can check in earlier. The surcharge is €30 per adult.
• Late check-out: A later departure can also be arranged subject to prior agreement and subject to room availability. For this, we charge €45 per person, including use of the wellness facilities and an afternoon snack.

• Breakfast buffet: Daily from 07:30 to 10:30 with regional produce such as muesli, yoghurt, sausage, cheese, freshly prepared egg dishes from our open kitchen, as well as various coffee and tea specialities and fruit juices.
• Afternoon snack: Daily from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm, featuring a dish of the day, soup, cold cuts, as well as cake and fruit for a light snack between meals. Please note that drinks are not included with the afternoon snack and will be charged separately.
• Dinner (4-course set menu): Served from 6.15 pm. Please take your seat at your table by 7.45 pm at the latest. The salad buffet is available until 8.00 pm; the kitchen closes at 8.45 pm. Every day we offer salads and starters from the buffet, soup or a hot starters and a choice of three main courses (meat, fish or vegetarian), dessert and a cheese platter. Once a week, we treat our guests to a themed buffet. Please let us know of any allergies or intolerances before arrival; we will take these into account as best as possible. We ask for your understanding that we do not offer vegan cuisine.
• Packed lunches: As a rule, we do not provide packed lunches as part of the breakfast buffet, but you are welcome to prepare one yourself at breakfast, subject to prior notification at reception and for an additional charge.

• Air conditioning: No, the rooms do not have air conditioning (at an alpine altitude of 1,000 m, this is generally not necessary even in summer).
• Facilities: All rooms and suites have their own balcony or terrace. The light-filled rooms are equipped with a bath/WC or shower/WC, as well as a hairdryer, flat-screen TV, radio, free Wi-Fi, telephone and safe.

Breakfast outdoors: Yes! When the summer weather is fine, you’re very welcome to enjoy your breakfast on our terrace.

Dinner in the restaurant: For organisational reasons, we serve dinner exclusively in the restaurant. However, you’re welcome to enjoy an afternoon snack and a refreshing drink on our terrace before or after dinner until 10.00 pm.

• Your benefits: The digital Premium guest card is automatically included with every booking (valid on both the day of arrival and the day of departure). It offers you free bus and train travel throughout Vorarlberg, free ascent and descent on the region’s mountain railways (for pedestrians in summer and winter), free entry to selected outdoor swimming pools in the region and one entry per stay to the Val Blu indoor swimming pool, as well as other benefits.
• Use before check-in: Would you like to go for a walk first thing in the morning on the day of arrival? No problem! We’ll be happy to provide you with the guest card digitally via email on the morning of your arrival, so that you can use it straight away without having to pop into the hotel first. Please send us your registration details in advance via the pre-check-in link in your booking confirmation or the arrival email.

• Indoor infinity pool: Open daily from 07:00 to 19:00. From 07:00 to 09:00, there is a quiet swimming period exclusively for adults; after that, the pool is open to all guests.
• Sauna area: The Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, steam room and panoramic clothing-worn sauna for families are available daily from 14:30 to 19:00. By arrangement with reception and for an additional charge of €25 per person, use of the sauna area and an afternoon snack (excluding room) on the day of departure.
• Exclusivity: The entire pool and sauna area is free of charge and reserved exclusively for our hotel guests – external day visitors are not permitted. On the day of departure, you may use the wellness area until you check out.

• Free parking: There are plenty of spaces available right next to the hotel in our free outdoor car park.
• Car park: The Alpenhotel Zimba does not have its own car park.

• E-bike hire: We do not hire out e-bikes directly at the hotel. However, there are several first-class hire companies right in the village of Brand. Our reception will be happy to provide you with information on prices and availability.
• Storage: You can store your own bicycles and e-bikes free of charge and securely in our video-monitored ski storage room.
• Charging facilities: You can charge your e-bike batteries free of charge using the sockets in the ski storage room.

• There is a public charging point for electric cars right next to the hotel.

• We are happy to provide cots, including bedding, for young children, as well as high chairs for the restaurant, free of charge for the duration of your stay. A bed guard can also be fitted to the cot on request.

• It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the Dorfbahn. In winter, you can also take the free ski shuttle bus to the Dorfbahn, which runs every 30 minutes and stops right outside the hotel.

• Dogs are welcome here! We charge € 20 per dog per day (excluding food). Please bring your own blanket or basket, as well as food for your four-legged friend.
• Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the hotel. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the wellness area, children’s playroom, youth club or restaurant.
• Dining with your dog: If you’d like to bring your dog with you at mealtimes, we’d be happy to reserve a table for you in our lobby, right next to the restaurant, subject to prior arrangement with reception.

• Free cancellation: You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 2 months before your planned arrival date.
• Scale of cancellation charges for last-minute cancellations:
  • Up to 1 month before arrival: 40% of the package price
  • Up to 1 week before arrival: 70% of the package price
  • In the final week before arrival: 90% of the package price

To protect yourself against potential cancellation charges in the event of last-minute cancellations, we recommend that you take out holiday insurance (e.g. Hotelstorno Plus).
