For little explorers, there is also the Tschengla Express slow train. Guests with the Premium guest card also enjoy free ascents and descents on participating mountain railways as well as free travel by bus and train throughout Vorarlberg.

Brandnertal offers families a wide range of activities in winter: the Brandnertal ski area covers 64.4 kilometres of slopes and is ideal for children and adults alike. The Schedlerhoflift in Brand is directly accessible from the hotel. There are also four natural toboggan runs, snowshoe hikes, ice skating and cross-country skiing. For beginner skiers, local ski schools offer courses with qualified ski instructors. The BrandnertalCard also gives children access to special experiences such as children's theatre and treasure hunts.

The Alpenhotel Zimba has an extensive wellness area that is also open to families: the indoor infinity pool and a natural swimming pond in the garden invite you to swim and relax. The sauna world includes a sauna, herbal sauna and steam bath. The panorama textile sauna is particularly family-friendly and can be visited with children.
